This house is awesome. It was like moving into an occupied house....you expected the furniture, linens, cooking utensils, etc. but we didn't expect glass-front display cabinets full of collectibles, photos and art on all the walls, urns and glass sculptures....right down to a junk drawer or two. We spent the first hour going from room to room, opening drawers, cupboards, doors; discovering more and more "stuff". Along with the 4 beds `n bath, kitchen/dining room and living room, it had a media room, an office, work-out room, library, an elevator, grand staircase, 3 patios and a full length deck that faced the Pacific Ocean. Oh, and a see-thru fireplace between Joe `n Teri's room and the living room.
Most of our days were spent reading, playing games....in real time or electronically, ...snacking, trying to soak up some sun on the deck, napping in the media room and visiting.

Our mom's sister Virginia and our cousin Susan rented a condo in nearby Lincoln City so the four of us got to spend some time with them. Virginia, at age 97, is the last of mom's siblings, and since we no longer have the family reunions of yore, it was wonderful to have the opportunity to spend time with her and recall times past......waaaaay past. Lillian lives in Idaho and we were delighted that she came to spend a few days with us. She was married to our father's brother Jack.
