The valentine on the left was from Dad to Mom and the other from Mom to Dad.
Probably from the 50's since the price for each was a whopping 35 cents.
The one below was a Mother's Day card he made when he realized it was after midnight
and nothing was open in the small town where they lived. Luckily he found the
crayons that Mom kept on hand for the grandkids when we came to visit.
And Mom did her share of things for Dad, mostly something she baked especially
for him...like Lemon Meringue pie....or more often than not,
a shirt she had made. Dad was very fortunate to have Mom in his life too.
